The Arts Council of Carteret County is proud to sponsor a fundraising event, to be hosted by St. Francis By the Sea, featuring the talent and creativity of both the visual and performing arts teachers of Carteret County. These dedicated art educators will headline an evening of art and music to help support Hurricane Helene relief efforts. Our teachers remember vividly the devastation our county faced in the wake of Hurricane Florence and how our neighbors throughout the state supported us during our time of need. Now it’s our turn to give back!
The proceeds raised during this event will be donated to the NC Arts Disaster Relief Fund to assist creatives in Western NC.
Please join us on Friday, November 1 beginning at 5:30pm at St. Francis By the Sea, 920 Salter Path Road. During this Opening Reception you will be treated to food and beverages as you explore the dynamic creations of our visual arts teachers which will be for sale in the main Gallery. Then at 7:00pm you are invited to celebrate our performing art educators as we experience their broad spectrum of artistic talents.
The Gallery Show will be available for sale through November 21. The Gallery is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10am until 3pm.
